DeSantis Devoured by the Deep State 22.01.2024

Ron DeSantis has announced that he is ending his presidential campaign. A year ago, DeSantis was considered a likely favorite for the campaign, especially given that Donald Trump might simply be barred from the elections. Moreover, DeSantis had started catching up to Trump in the ratings, which provoked an ambiguous reaction from the latter.
Currently, DeSantis confidently held second place in the Republican primaries, despite the active promotion of a third candidate - Nikki Haley. Nikki Haley is sponsored by Charles Koch, who represents the Koch dynasty - historically one of the main sponsors of the Republican Party in the USA.
The relationship between Donald Trump and Charles Koch is quite complex. Publicly, they don't seem to like each other much, sometimes arguing over support for certain politicians in North Dakota, or the Koch Brothers Foundation raising millions to oppose Trump. In reality, the business interests of the Kochs and Trump intersect. For instance, Trump actively supported the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline from Canada to the USA, in which Charles Koch has a 'substantial interest'. Joe Biden, as soon as he entered the White House at the beginning of 2020, immediately froze the construction of this pipeline, causing, to say the least, significant disappointment for Charles Koch and not only him.
The political fate of Trump himself, who faces potential imprisonment of up to 800 years in all the criminal cases against him, is also quite uncertain. Meanwhile, Nikki Haley has rushed to support various elements of the "left-wing plan", which historically tend to lean more towards the Democratic Party.
In this madhouse, DeSantis could have "shot" in the right direction, but for some reason, he did not. Thus, the intrigue of the upcoming elections in the USA is reduced only to whether Trump will be removed from the race through the courts or not. Considering the composition of judges in the Supreme Court of the USA, where Trump's appeal is currently being considered, this seems highly unlikely, but still possible. We will find out everything in February.
Also, after the scandal with the "Epstein Dossier", the Democrats' camp has been simply demolished, and Nikki Haley is the "dark horse" of the Republican primary, moreover with the "left" rhetoric of the Democrats. In general, I don't see anything good in what's happening. The American deep state has long been in turmoil, and against the backdrop of the world rapidly going mad, this cannot but cause concern.
